Website connection errors

Connection errors can be caused by network conditions, browser configuration, TLS certificates or the remote server.

Connection timed out

The server did not respond within the expected time. The host, network route or firewall may be responsible.

Connection refused

A connection reached a host but the requested service may not be accepting connections.

TLS or certificate warning

Check the address and device date and time. Do not bypass certificate warnings on sites where you enter sensitive information.

Try to isolate the cause

Test another browser or network and note the exact error message. These comparisons help narrow down the cause.
